My company Karin McNamara Design is a multi-award winning Canberra based interior design consultancy. Established in 2001, I have established a reputation for providing creative designs for renovations, new homes, kitchens, bathroom, multi-unit developments, office and small hotel fit-outs.


I have worked on numerous projects in the Canberra region, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the NSW southern and central coasts.


I can advise on space management, kitchen and bathroom design, furniture layouts, bespoke joinery and assist in selection of finishes and fittings.


My portfolio includes many, many private residential projects, and clients such as the Boathouse by the Lake, The Merimbula Hotel, CIC, Engineering House, Tall Trees Group, CEA Technologies, FAB Salon, Sutton & Horsley,  several well established architectural firms, and developers.


I have also established excellent relationships with builders, tradespeople and suppliers whose exceptional talents and products have ensured the timely and skillfull delivery of my projects.


My work has also been featured in several publications, such as House and Garden, Kitchen and Bathroom Quarterly, Kitchen Yearbook and Monument (Issue 111). I am also an active member of both Housing Industry Association and the Master Builders’ Association.
